We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to join a a well-established independent management business who provides portfolio management and stockbroking services to private clients. As a Team Manager, you will report to the Client Service Manager and be leading a team of committed and professional Client Service Administrators. This leadership role requires an experienced people leader and expertise in how Wealth Management firm operates to service its private client.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the client service team.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficient ways of working so that the team can support the Investment Management team and external IFA’s as the Client base grows and they work collaboratively together.
Oversee the daily performance of the team and ensure the correct controls are in place and we meet our Regulatory obligations, capturing Regulatory change that impacts the team and processes.
Oversee the processes in client services and be able to step in when necessary to carry out tasks, ensure procedures are up to date and accessible for people to follow.
Be responsible for process change and process improvement, working with the Client Service Manager to review processes between the teams so that they are fit for purpose and deliver the most efficient service for the Client.
Ensure compliance with the appropriate regulation and policies.
Develop strong and effective team relationships
Be flexible to work in an environment that sometimes requires longer hours to be worked to deliver the service to our Clients.
Key Skills
Experience in providing administrative support within a Wealth Management firm. With a good understanding of client service.
A professional and personable communicator who is comfortable dealing with colleagues at varying levels.
Previous experience in overseeing, training or managing more administration team members is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills
Have strong communication skills.
Be adept at building relationships.
Ability to work autonomously.
Experience of working in fast paced environment
