Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

As a Senior/Semi-Senior Accountant, you will work autonomously to prepare accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to partnerships and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare accounts for various client types, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Complete personal and corporation tax returns, identifying tax planning opportunities and ensuring compliance.

• Review and approve VAT returns and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, assisting in their professional development and ensuring work quality.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the firm to deliver comprehensive client service.

Requirements:

• Qualified by experience, or part qualified/qualified with ACA, ACCA, or AAT.

• Proven experience in an accountancy practice, demonstrating competence in account preparation, tax compliance, and VAT.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

• Capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
