We are working with a well-established national hire company seeking a Sales Executive to join their friendly, customer-focused team at their Northern depot in Thirsk.
About the Role
Promote their full range of equipment hire services and benefits to new and existing customers through face-to-face visits and telesales.
Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio while actively pursuing new business.
Collaborate closely with the Depot Manager to retain and expand accounts within your sales territory.
Achieve revenue growth against targets and reactivate dormant accounts.
Conduct site surveys to help customers select the right equipment for their projects.
Maintain accurate account records, call reports, and quotes using CRM software.
Build strong customer relationships, deliver outstanding service, and resolve issues promptly.
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Skills & Experience
Proven sales experience, preferably within rental or construction equipment sectors.
Experience in powered access, plant/tool hire, or construction is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong IT literacy.
Highly organised, proactive, and a confident negotiator.
Full UK Category B driving licence is required.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
