I am assisting a client based in Thirsk who is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator/Administrator to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role requires 15 hours per week, covering Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities and skills required:
· Read Job Sheets scheduled for production
· Create a 'shopping list' of necessary materials
· Order materials from designated suppliers
· Liaise with suppliers regarding lead times, stock levels, and delivery dates to ensure timely arrival for production
· Conscientious and organised
· Good negotiating skills
· Friendly and professional manner for regular supplier interactions
· Previous purchasing experience would be advantageous but not essential
