Part-Time Payroll & Finance Administrator

£30,000–£35,000 FTE (3 days per week or equivalent)
An established, family-run business in the Ripon area is seeking a Part-Time Payroll & Finance Administrator to join their growing team. The company continues to expand and has recently invested in new systems, enhancing its finance and administrative processes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team while playing a key role in the rollout of a new finance system.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll processing, alongside supporting day-to-day finance administration. This position requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Processing weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions
Processing purchase invoices using correct nominal codes
Reconciling supplier accounts and managing payments
Ecommerce platform payout reconciliations
Credit card purchase and sales reconciliations
Cash handling and maintaining basic cash controls
Providing general finance and administrative support as required
Required Skills & Experience
Previous payroll processing experience
Experience with purchase ledger and account reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using accounting systems and spreadsheets
Organised, dependable, and able to work independently
