Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their small team in Middlesbrough.
In this role, you will offer extensive administrative support to the directors, playing a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for sales and content operations
Maintain and manage databases efficiently
Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers
Handle email and telephone queries promptly
Manage invoicing and related financial tasks
Assist in organising and coordinating events
Publish content on the website, e-newsletters, and social media platforms
Supervise and guide an admin apprentice
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office-based role and demonstrate:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Adobe (including Photoshop), and Xero is advantageous
Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of literacy and numeracy
Proficiency in social media management
A flexible, adaptable approach with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle
