Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their small team in Middlesbrough.

In this role, you will offer extensive administrative support to the directors, playing a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for sales and content operations

  • Maintain and manage databases efficiently

  • Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers

  • Handle email and telephone queries promptly

  • Manage invoicing and related financial tasks

  • Assist in organising and coordinating events

  • Publish content on the website, e-newsletters, and social media platforms

  • Supervise and guide an admin apprentice


The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office-based role and demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Adobe (including Photoshop), and Xero is advantageous

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of literacy and numeracy

  • Proficiency in social media management

  • A flexible, adaptable approach with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

  • A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle
