​We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded property business based in Catterick, who are looking to appoint a Lettings Compliance Administrator to support their expanding lettings team. This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a confident, professional manner when dealing with clients and tenants.


As the Lettings Compliance Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all properties within the lettings portfolio remain fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. You'll liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors regularly, so excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Managing and tracking compliance documentation such as Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs, EICRs, and Legionella assessments.

·         Preparing tenancy agreements and ensuring all pre-tenancy checks are completed accurately.

·         Acting as a key point of contact for landlords and tenants regarding compliance matters.

·         Organising inspections and coordinating with contractors.

·         Maintaining internal systems and supporting the wider lettings team with administrative tasks.

 

About you:

·         Strong administrative background with excellent organisational skills.

·         A confident, customer-focused approach with great communication skills.

·         Understanding of compliance, legal documentation, or conveyancing is a bonus.

·         Experience in lettings, legal admin, or other regulated industries is desirable but not essential.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property software systems.
