We are working alongside a leading manufacturer of Medical Products based in the Ripon area, who is looking to add a new Head of Operations to their team.
Within this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the processes between all departments including Production, Planning & Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics and Customer Service are working to the highest possible level.
Your other duties will include, but are not limited to:
Build, lead, supervise and motivate a cohesive Site Leadership Team
Coach, develop, and train employees
Deliver regular informal feedback and periodic formal assessments to staff
Optimise the flow of materials and information
Implement standard work for processes
Implement standard work for Leaders
Visually manage performance and identify problems to be solved
Link area performance to Key Performance Indicators (e.g., Complaints, On Time Delivery, Days Inventory On Hand, Efficiency)
Work with the Production Planner to develop and monitor manufacturing and sterilisation schedules and corresponding capacity and resource plans
Drive attention to detail to ensure correct, timely and efficient completion of all medical device history records, bills of material, routers, etc
Partner with Finance to monitor, review, and improve product costs, margins and P&L

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
