My client based in Newton Aycliffe is looking for a part AAT or fully AAT qualified Finance Assistant to joint their team.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
· Assist finance manager with preparation of monthly accounts
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Maintaining records on financial systems
· Produce monitoring reports to improve business processes and efficiency
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and suppliers.
· Supporting the finance team with projects and tasks where required
· Inventory costing
· Sales invoice creation
· Assist Finance Manager with external audit
· Assist with AP when required, including invoice processing and liaising with suppliers
· Assist with the review and submission of VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions
· Assist with reconciliation and upkeep of general ledger nominal codes
· Preparation of various compliance submissions
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
· Part AAT or fully AAT qualified
· Must be a self-starter and team player
· Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
· Clear and concise written and communication skills
· The ability to make decisions and work accurately under pressure
· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Full-time
. 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:00 Friday
