An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Electrical Technician to join a forward-thinking and fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone with strong electrical expertise and a working knowledge of mechanical systems. The role will be predominantly electrical with a ratio of 70/30 Electrical/Mechanical.
Main Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems
Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements
Install and optimise logic controllers to improve system performance
Carry out testing to meet safety and operational standards
Take initiative to improve departmental efficiency while working independently or within a team
Candidate specification:
Time-served or formally qualified in Electrical Engineering
Proven experience with electrical maintenance and PPM systems
Background in plastics or injection moulding is desirable
Basic understanding of mechanical systems
Experience with logic controllers is advantageous

2-shift rotating pattern (2 days / 2 nights, Monday to Friday)
