An excellent opportunity to join a growing business based in Newton Aycliffe on a 12 month contract with a with the possibility of extension after the initial term.
In your role, you will oversee customer relationships and ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement to the shipping of goods. You will collaborate with the Production Controller, Buyers, and Stores Team to meet key performance indicators like 'On-Time-Delivery-In-Full' and identify areas for improvement.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Effectively manage relationships with customers and colleagues.
· Perform transactional administration, including data entry.
· Process, monitor, and report on sales orders.
· Issue order books and shipping schedules to customers.
· Handle customer inquiries and disputes with a proactive problem-solving approach.
· Expedite urgent shipment items by coordinating with all departments to meet customer requirements.
· Contribute to sales forecasting and participate in weekly planning meetings.
· Collaborate with the Production Controller to manage sales orders, processing, and ordering.
· Manage the recording and exchange of information and documentation using Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Candidate requirements:
· Advanced Microsoft Office experience and ability.
· Strong administrative acumen and data management/input experience.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Demonstrable relationship management.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities.
