The Role
The Client Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, ensuring all compliance work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and within deadline.
Core Responsibilities
· Managing a portfolio of clients, including planning, reviewing and billing
· Acting as the main point of contact for client queries
· Preparation of year-end accounts
· Preparation of unincorporated accounts
· Preparation of limited company accounts
· Checking and reviewing company accounts prepared by junior staff
· Preparation and filing of Company Tax Returns
· Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
· Preparation and audit of charity accounts
· Review of bookkeeping
· Filing VAT Returns using Xero, QuickBooks and OneClick
· Filing Abbreviated Accounts
· Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance across the portfolio
Leadership & Management
· Acting as primary line manager for designated team members
· Reviewing work and providing technical feedback
· Supporting the training and development of junior staff
· Contributing to workflow planning and team performance

About You
Our client is seeking a confident and technically capable practice professional who enjoys client interaction and team leadership.
Essential Requirements
· ACCA or ACA qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
· Minimum 3 years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
· Experience preparing and filing statutory accounts and company tax returns
· Experience preparing Personal Tax Returns
· Strong knowledge of VAT processes and software systems
· Experience reviewing accounts and bookkeeping
· Ability to manage a portfolio independently
· Strong organisational and time management skills
