Bookkeeper (Accountancy Practice), Huddersfield
An Accountancy Practice is recruiting for a bookkeeper to take responsibility for their growing client portfolio. To be considered you should ideally have bookkeeping experience from an accountancy practice, industry experience can also be considered
There will also be the opportunity to assist in their payroll team, training will be provided if required.
This is a full time office based position, however they can consider offering part time hours.
Duties and Requirements
Experience in the use of Xero and Sage experience would be highly desirable
Accountancy practice experience is essential
Competent user of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of VAT Regulations and MTD.
Bank reconciliations and control accounts.
Processing transactions.
Preparing accounts.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Dealing with clients and their queries.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Work to deadlines.
Prioritise workflow.
Excellent organisational skills.
Confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
