Audit Senior/Accountant, Halifax
An opportunity to join a busy Accountancy Practice as an Audit Senior/Accountant has arisen. This role requires a professional and experienced individual looking to work for a growing company.
To be considered you should have a minimum of 5 year’s experience of working in an accountancy practice and be able to prepare accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies. Experience of audits is essential.
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, they do offer flexible working.
Responsibilities to include:
Preparation of statutory accounts from client’s records
Completion of corporation tax computations and returns
Conducting audit engagements from planning through to completion
Supervision and direction of junior staff
To qualify you must have the following:
ACA/ACCA qualified
Proven audit experience for limited companies
Experience of working in Accountancy practice
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable but not essential:
Experience of credit union and charity audits
Familiarity of IRIS software package
