A multi-award winning top 100 National Chartered Accountancy & Business Advisory firm is looking to recruit an assistant accountant to join their accounts team in Sheffield.
To be considered, you should have at least 2 years of accountancy practice experience as well as be AAT qualified or have a finance related degree.
You should be confident with bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation including bank reconciliation.
Duties
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information
• Handling accounts payable and receivables
• Payment Runs
• VAT Returns
• Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Bookkeeping Reviews
• Bank and other Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Maintaining company ledgers
• Projects and System implementations
Requirements
•Experience in VAT preparation
•Can prepare partnership to small companies’ accounts
•Have good IT skills, mainly Microsoft Office
•AAT qualified or finance related degree (minimum)
