I am working with a well know business who are based on the outskirts of Thirsk as they are looking to recruit for an Administrator to join their team on a full time basis.

To be the successful candidate you will have experience of working within a busy office, and have excellent organisation skills. You will be a pivotal part of the team, and with need to have the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manages reception area and looks after visitors
  • Answer phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • Manging diary for conference room meetings, booking rooms, and planning refreshments
  • Hotel Bookings for various functions
  • Taking orders / enquiries over the phone from customers and sales reps
  • Inputting orders onto the system
  • Inputting production data
  • Using in house computer system to create new and update customer accounts / entering end of month stock take and daily data
  • Assisting in all aspects of day to day administrative tasks and maintenance of administrative systems, policies and procedures
  • Maintains stock and orders office supplies as needed


Skills and abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • A good strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative, work on their own and as part of a team
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable


Due to the location of the clients offices, your own transport is essential
