I am assisting a Thirsk based client as they are recruiting for an Administrator to assist within their HR function on a 3-month contract. You’ll provide support with HR policies and processes, ensuring everything is accurate and compliant for our People Teams, managers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue HR documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and on time.
Administer HR systems and keep information up to date.
Manage new starters, changes, leavers, and absence management, including letters and system updates.
Provide managers with relevant data to help monitor trends.
Offer basic employee relations advice on grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
A-levels or equivalent (degree preferred).
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and HR systems.
Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
