A well-established client of Si Recruitment is seeking an Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. Initially, the position is for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role thereafter.


Due to the client being based on the outskirts of Thirsk where public transport is limited, your own transport is essential.

The chosen candidate will be part of a broader administrative team, responsible for reception duties and supporting different departments with administrative responsibilities. Previous administrative experience is required, along with a willingness to acquire new skills..


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to…

·         Answering & directing incoming calls

·         Taking & passing on messages

·         Filing, copying and other ad-hoc administrative tasks

·         Meeting & Greeting visitors & customers

·         Organising corporate events

·         Taking meeting minutes

·         Management of sample stock and dispatch

·         Managing merchandise collateral stock and dispatch

·         Liaising with contractors and distributors for sales and marketing opportunities and requests

·         Managing and monitoring internal and external channels

·         Supporting the collation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports


Experience / Skills / Attributes Required

·         Strong customer services skills & pleasant telephone manner

·         Strong computer literacy and be able to communicate and record information effectively.

·         Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.

·         Good communication skills when under pressure
