Do you have experience of purchase and sales ledger?

Our client based in the advertising industry are looking for an Accounts Assistant working on their overseas clients processing invoices and assisting with financial record keeping and reporting.

Skills Required:

• Problem solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience of Purchase and Sales Ledger

• Excel Skills

• Strong organisational skills

Key Duties:

• Processing proformas received.

• Raising sales invoices to clients in sterling and foreign currencies.

• Ensuring sales invoices and associated costs are billed and recorded accurately.

• Chasing missing PO’s where required.

• Processing both sterling and foreign currency purchase invoices onto the finance system.

• Raise queries with vendors or local offices on any invoice overcharges.

• Reconcile vendor statements.

• Allocate accruals on the finance system, posting correcting journals if required.

• Create vendor payment reports and assist with responding to vendor payment chases.

• Carry out administrative tasks to support the Finance function.
