We're currently working with a valued, long-standing client in search of an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Guisborough.
This position offers flexibility in working hours, considering both full-time and part-time options (4 days a week).
Key responsibilities include:
Providing payroll coverage for holidays and sickness absences
Reconciling credit cards and managing the accounts inbox
Collating monthly payment runs and handling supplier payments
Conducting bank reconciliations
Assisting the Financial Lead with various ad hoc tasks
Registering and matching purchase invoices using Sage system
Timely resolution of invoice queries
Entering payments into the company banking system
Monthly reconciliation of purchase statements
Sending payment remittances to suppliers
Setting up supplier and customer accounts in Sage
Maintaining organised filing systems
Required skills:
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional organisational abilities
Preferably, prior experience or knowledge of Sage accounts, Xero, and Excel
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
