My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This role offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time hours and plays a key role in supporting a variety of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Registering and matching purchase invoices on Sage
Resolving invoice queries promptly and efficiently
Entering payments on the company banking system
Performing monthly purchase statement reconciliations
Sending payment remittances to suppliers
Setting up supplier and customer accounts on Sage
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems
Providing payroll cover during holidays or sickness
Reconciling credit cards and managing the accounts inbox
Collating monthly payment runs and processing supplier payments
Conducting bank reconciliations
Supporting the Financial Lead with ad hoc duties
Key Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
Previous experience using Sage and Excel preferred
