We are working with a well-regarded academy to recruit an experienced Academy Administrator. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy educational environment.
You will provide effective day-to-day administrative, organisational, and financial support, whilst ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage reception duties and act as the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries
Maintain accurate manual and computerised records
Assist with planning and coordination of academy events, trips, and activities
Provide administrative support to staff and the Local Academy Committee
Operate relevant ICT systems and office equipment
Monitor stock levels and support procurement activities
Assist with financial administration, including payroll support, budgeting, and reporting
Support marketing, promotion, facilities, and general office management
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant administrative experience (education sector desirable)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
A friendly, professional, and approachable manner
The confidence to handle sensitive or challenging conversations calmly and assertively
The successful appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, in line with safeguarding requirements.
