An exclusive opportunity to join a growing business as they require an experienced Stock and Purchasing Executive to join their team.

 

As the successful candidate you will be hard working, have a keen eye for detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be working within a small team and assist with other departments when necessary.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Raising purchase orders for goods in the company’s stock systems.

  • Generate inspection lists for the booking-in of stock and ensure all stock is properly counted in

  • Working with the Inventory Analyst to understand the current supply chain and inventory catalogue

  • Liaising with freight forwarder and managing shipping logistics to ensure stock arrives on time

  • Reconciling purchase orders, packing lists and purchase invoices and taking the appropriate actions when discrepancies are found

  • Maintaining the company’s stock system – creating new stock codes, ensuring correct cost data recorded

  • Liaising with the marketing department to ensure new stock lines are listed on company’s web sites

 

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:

  • Good Excel Skills are a must

  • Enthusiasm, high Standards and an eagerness to get things done and done right

  • A logical approach to dealing with the paperwork and systems involved in ordering and receiving stock

  • A clear eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of work

  • Capable of working on own initiative and to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work with other teams (i.e. finance and marketing)

  • Ability to manage change effectively and implement new systems
