An exclusive opportunity to join a growing business as they require an experienced Stock and Purchasing Executive to join their team.
As the successful candidate you will be hard working, have a keen eye for detail and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be working within a small team and assist with other departments when necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Raising purchase orders for goods in the company’s stock systems.
Generate inspection lists for the booking-in of stock and ensure all stock is properly counted in
Working with the Inventory Analyst to understand the current supply chain and inventory catalogue
Liaising with freight forwarder and managing shipping logistics to ensure stock arrives on time
Reconciling purchase orders, packing lists and purchase invoices and taking the appropriate actions when discrepancies are found
Maintaining the company’s stock system – creating new stock codes, ensuring correct cost data recorded
Liaising with the marketing department to ensure new stock lines are listed on company’s web sites
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:
Good Excel Skills are a must
Enthusiasm, high Standards and an eagerness to get things done and done right
A logical approach to dealing with the paperwork and systems involved in ordering and receiving stock
A clear eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
Capable of working on own initiative and to meet deadlines
Ability to work with other teams (i.e. finance and marketing)
Ability to manage change effectively and implement new systems
