My client is looking for a part time hands-on SHEQ Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality across the business. This role ensures compliance with legal standards, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of safety and quality within the Water Industry.
Responsiblities:
Policy Management: Develop and enforce SHEQ policies to meet legal and industry standards.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
Training & Induction: Work with HR to deliver safety training and employee inductions.
Compliance & Audits: Maintain accreditations (e.g., Achilles UVDB, ISO 9001/14001) and manage audits.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and manage related claims.
Data Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report SHEQ performance metrics.
Collaboration: Support operational teams to embed SHEQ into projects and daily activities.
Documentation: Maintain and improve SHEQ procedures and records.
Requirements:
NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications (or equivalent).
SHEQ experience in the Water or Construction sectors.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of industry regulations and standards.
