​Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in a supportive and people-focused business? Our client, based in Brompton-on-Swale, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while maintaining work-life balance.

 

As an integral part of the business, you’ll provide expert advice and hands-on support across a wide range of HR areas—from employee relations to recruitment, policy development, and performance management.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Provide advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures

·        Support employee relations cases (grievances, disciplinary, absence, etc.)

·        Assist with performance management and improvement plans

·        Manage recruitment processes and onboarding for specific roles

·        Develop and implement HR policies in line with current legislation

·        Advise on key HR topics including diversity, conduct, appraisals, and conflict resolution

·        Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics

·        Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I initiatives

·        Support organisational change, such as restructures or policy changes

·        Liaise with external HR support providers and advisory bodies as needed

 

About You

·        Experience in an HR Advisor or similar role (2–5 years ideally)

·        Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

·        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

·        CIPD qualified or working towards (or equivalent)

·        Organised and able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment

·        High level of discretion and professional integrity

·        Confident user of Microsoft 365 tools
