This is a fantastic opportunity for someone articulate, highly organised, and confident in written communication. Ideally suited to a graduate in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline, this role offers the chance to work alongside senior stakeholders, industry leaders, and global experts to shape the content and delivery of impactful B2B events.
Key Responsibilities Include
Speaker Coordination
• Identifying and researching potential speakers using LinkedIn and industry sources
• Drafting professional speaker communications, invitations, and follow-ups
• Maintaining accurate speaker information, including bios, photos, and contact details
• Managing presentation logistics and speaker onboarding in the lead-up to events
• Communicating confidently with senior industry figures across the globe
Agenda & Content Development
• Supporting the build and refinement of event agendas
• Tracking updates, speaker slots, and internal content deadlines
• Collaborating with commercial teams to ensure all stakeholders are accurately represented
• Assisting in the creation of internal briefing notes and running orders
Onsite Event Support
• Welcoming and briefing speakers, moderating stage transitions
• Managing speaker areas and ensuring sessions run smoothly and professionally
• Representing the company with confidence and calm during live events
Marketing & Website Support
• Ensuring speaker details and agendas are always current and accurate
• Working with design and web teams to publish updates across digital channels
• Supporting the collection of promotional material and speaker quotes
Team Collaboration & General Admin
• Providing regular updates across departments
• Supporting in all aspects of event delivery as deadlines approach
• Attending live events both in the UK and internationally when required
The Ideal Candidate Will Be
• Exceptionally well-written, with excellent grammar and communication skills
• Friendly, proactive, and confident engaging with senior-level stakeholders
• Calm under pressure with a polished and professional approach
• Curious about global events, international business, or the energy industry
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems
• Based within commuting distance of Northallerton, with the flexibility to travel on occasion
