Office Administrator – Northallerton
Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Office-based | Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based in Northallerton, who are looking for a confident and proactive Office Administrator to join their busy team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on staying organised, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer emails and enquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Providing regular updates to customers regarding ongoing repairs

  • Managing and responding to work orders within targeted timescales

  • Recording updates accurately on all jobs and maintaining internal systems

  • Updating cost estimates and ensuring records are kept up to date

  • Printing reports relating to work orders as required

  • Liaising with external suppliers to place orders for parts

  • Assisting in the preparation of invoices

  • Collecting customer payments and processing accordingly

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Be confident in communicating with both customers and suppliers

  • Be organised, proactive and able to manage their own workload

  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Have previous experience in an administrative or customer service-based role
