Are you an experienced finance officer who is immediately available to start a new role with a charity in the Scarborough area? If so, we have a fantastic role offering a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent at the end.
Offering a great salary of £30-33,000 on a full time basis the key duties for the role of Senior Finance Officer will include:
• Assisting with regular financial functions, including preparing BACs runs for suppliers.
• Weekly Bank reconciliations
• Monthly update of the fixed asset register
• Assisting in production of monthly management reports, managing budget allocation and cost analysis
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
• Assisting with budget related activities
• Assisting with Payroll administration
Desirable skills
• Advance IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft packages
• AAT qualified
• Previous experience of responsibility for an accounts function in small to medium sized business
• Able to work as part of a team and cover colleagues where necessary.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Charities accounting experience would be beneficial
