​Our client is a creative-led retail brand specialising in art and gifts. With a growing portfolio of high-street stores and a thriving eCommerce platform, the business brings joy and inspiration to customers through beautifully designed products and experiences. Their mission is to make art accessible, personal, and part of everyday life.

They’re seeking a talented Senior Designer to lead the creative execution of the brand across both retail and digital channels. This role plays a key part in shaping how the brand is experienced in-store, online, and in customers’ homes through packaging, campaigns, product design, and digital content.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of seasonal campaigns in print and digital formats, merchandise design, in-store graphics and POS, shop window graphics, and digital assets for web and social media.

  • Collaborate with product, retail, and eCommerce teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling across all platforms.

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across physical and digital environments.

  • Mentor and motivate a team of designers, providing creative direction and constructive feedback.

  • Manage multiple projects from concept to delivery, balancing creativity with commercial goals.

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams to deliver visually engaging design concepts and ideas.

  • Stay ahead of design and retail trends to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and inspiring.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior design role, ideally within retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, digital and print campaign design, and merchandise or packaging design.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; motion graphics or illustration skills are a plus.

  • Experience working with printers, suppliers, and production teams.

  • Experience designing for both physical retail and eCommerce environments.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • A passion for art, design, and customer experience.

  • Understanding of merchandising, customer journeys, and how design influences buying behaviour.

  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with a love for storytelling through design.

  • Proficiency in using Figma is desirable.
