We are working with a Billingham based client who are searching for a Sales Executive to provide support to the Sales and Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Undertake research, report on findings and make recommendations for appropriate new business initiatives as required by the business
Support the sales and marketing team with new developments and company updates and attend networking/ exhibitions if required
Answering day to day calls
Taking conference, event and accommodation enquiries both verbally and via the system
Complete Request for Quotations on behalf of the company for preferred clients, negotiating cost savings and added value for the clients
Work as part of a small team providing flexibility to support other team members in all areas of the business
Research potential leads and identify new sales opportunities
Complete follow up calls to clients to ensure no lapsed users are left without a follow up
Develop own leads via social media and other avenues and generate sales
Identify and support new sales initiatives
Review web enquiries and click through from e-bulletins to identify new leads
Be pro-active in promoting loyalty scheme and recommend a friend
Requirements:
Excellent telephone manner required for answering calls
Excellent Sales skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work within a pressurised environment
Ability to work with all levels of staff
Good negotiation skills
Computer literate: Word Processing, Spreadsheets
