My client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their busy team on the outskirts of Thirsk.
Key responsibilities but limited to:
• Daily update of the accounts payable ledger; invoice entry & approvals, payments proposals and processing plus supplier statement reconciliation.
• Daily bank statement management; enter all transactions in the ERP system and reconciliation.
• Processing and payment of employee expenses plus employee credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain the Financial schedule of lease commitments with supporting documentation.
• Complete and reconcile month end reports, including P+L and Balance Sheet reporting and banking commitments.
• Providing support and ad-hoc cover for transactional accounting tasks
Desirable qualities:
• Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent computer literacy
Job information:
• Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-14:00
• £24,000-£27,000 depending on experience
