Role: Personal Tax Assistant Manager
Location: Leeds, LS15
(Flexible hours/Part-Time Considered)
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
A highly reputable and expanding accountancy practice based in Leeds is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their established and growing Tax Team.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including high net worth individuals, directors, sole traders, and non-UK residents. The role will involve both compliance and advisory work, offering you exposure to a diverse and interesting client base.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from start to finish
· Advising on remuneration planning and related personal tax matters
· Attending client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
· Providing advice on personal tax liabilities and payments
· Assisting with ad hoc advisory work alongside senior tax managers
· Reviewing work and mentoring junior staff, supporting their development
· Delegating work efficiently within the team
About You:
You’ll be a confident and client-focused tax professional with a strong understanding of personal tax matters and experience managing a portfolio independently.
Requirements:
· ATT qualified (minimum), with 5+ years' experience in personal tax
· Proven track record of handling a wide range of personal tax issues
· Experience reviewing and supporting the development of junior team members
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
· Experience in advisory and planning work would be an advantage
