​Are you an experienced accounts professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity?

Our client, a well-established and successful company based in Stockton, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase ledger and reconcile statements

  • Oversee weekly supplier and subcontractor payments

  • Allocate cash and perform bank reconciliations

  • Handle credit control and ensure timely payments

  • Process and input weekly timesheets

  • Generate and submit HMRC reports

  • Provide exceptional customer care, including managing customer inquiries and booking jobs for new builds

  • Assist with general administration tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in accounts or finance roles

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting software

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to support the team
