We are recruiting for a well-established logistics service provider, seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Customs Administrator. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the account management team with documentation related to the export and import of goods.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customs clearance documentation for both UK and EU shipments.

  • Liaise with multiple internal functions and shipping lines to ensure customs compliance.

  • Cross-check and validate customs and shipping documentation to resolve queries and ensure records are up-to-date.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide accurate and current information on customs procedures.

  • Advise on the necessary documentation for direct import/export and transit movements.

  • Strive for continuous improvement, proactively streamlining processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in CPD activities to further develop your knowledge of customs processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a keen interest in logistics.

  • Previous experience in customs documentation or a related administrative role is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
