My client is looking for a part time Bookkeeper/ Payroll Assistant to join their small but busy team. They are ideally looking for someone with finance experience however, they are also happy to train the right person up who has administrative experience with an interest in finance. My client does require someone with confidence who is happy to attend solo weekly client meetings.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Bank reconciliations
Processing client payments
Assisting with Year End Annual Tax accounts
Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll
Submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
Bookkeeping
Processing client invoices
Credit control duties
Working closely with HMRC
Completion of internal and external audits
Communicating with clients
Adhoc duties as and when required
Desirable qualities:
Good at problem solving
Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Advance knowledge with Excel
You must have your own transport/ UK drivers license due to the rural location
Maths and English GCSE at grade C or equivalent
Job information:
08:30-17:00, 3 or 4 days a week depending on your preference
