We are working closely with Thirsk based business who require a part-time Bookkeeper, on a permanent basis, as their current person is due to retire. Preferably, they would like someone in place before the beginning of March in order for a good handover. This will likely be 2 days/week and 3 days/week towards the end of the month.
Responsibilities:
Processing weekly payroll on Sage; including pension/PAYE/NI
Bank reconciliations
Credit Card reconciliations
Purchase Invoice management
Upload customer invoices to Sage 50
Credit control
Monthly profit & loss reports
CIS monthly reconciliation
Quarterly VAT reconciliation
Assist external Accountants with bi-yearly and year-end accounts preparation
Accounts inbox maintenance
Requirements/Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role
AAT L4 qualified or equivalent in experience
Clean license and own car
Any experience with compliance would be preferred but not essential
