Are you a highly driven and results orientated individual who thrives in a fast paced environment with proven experience in social media marketing, webinars, and customer engagement?

We are currently helping our client working in the retail landscape to recruit a driven Membership Co-Ordinator. You will be key in developing and executing initiatives to drive member growth, engagement, and retention, positioning the company as the go-to platform for independent businesses.

This role will require you to collaborate with marketing and senior leadership to ensure consistent and impactful communication and engagement with their members.

Duties

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing members within the community.

  • Grow the membership network through strategic outreach and partnerships with independent creators and industry experts.

  • Identify and secure partnerships that provide value, such as discounts, exclusive offers, and other member benefits.

  • Craft clear, compelling, and engaging communication via email, blogs, and social media to keep members informed and connected.

  • Organise and execute member-focused events, such as webinars and virtual meetups, in collaboration with the marketing team..

  • Seek out sponsorship opportunities with like-minded businesses that align with the company’s mission and values.

  • Assist members in optimising their profiles and resources on the platform to enhance their experience and visibility.

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns that promote membership growth and member engagement.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly webinars featuring industry experts to provide valuable insights to members.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to continuously improve member offerings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media marketing efforts with member engagement strategies.

  • Actively seek out new members and encourage them to sign up and engage with the community.

Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience in community management, membership services, or engagement roles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling content.

  • Experience with CRM tools and platforms to manage member engagement.

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

  • A proactive, self-starter who is passionate about empowering independent businesses.

  • A solid understanding of the importance of content in driving engagement and retention.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with social media marketing, webinars, and online community engagement.

  • Knowledge of the independent business and creative industries is a plus.
