Are you a Management Accountant looking for a new challenge to work with a constantly developing and expanding company?
Working alongside the Financial Controller you will ensure accurate and insightful monthly Management Accounts are prepared for 4 individual companies as well as the consolidation, including all relevant checks performed on the P&L and BS.
Skills Required:
Good communications skills
Ability to successfully handle several priorities simultaneously
Strong knowledge of accruals and prepayments
Experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Part/ Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA with 3- 5 years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of full monthly Management Accounts for 4 individual companies as well as the consolidation, including all relevant checks performer on the P&L and BS
Intercompany charges preparation and posting
Bank processes management
Compliant preparation of quarterly VAT returns including partially exempt VAT groups
Ensuring that profit/loss account and balance sheets are free from errors, reconciled and accounted for according to relevant accounting standards
Assisting in preparation of the Corporation Tax returns, Year End accounts
Preparation of the Companies House submissions
Assisting and managing the External Audit and preparation of Statutory Accounts
Responsibility for monthly reporting against Budgets and Forecasts
Assisting Head of Finance in profit/loss and cash flow forecasts preparation
Assisting Head of Finance in preparation of business cases and other ad-hoc financial tasks as required
