We are looking for an experienced individual who has worked within a heavy industry, with an experienced background in automation and process controls. This being a key role in the Maintenance Department, you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and responsible for planning and organising a team of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers . This is a hands-on role with focus on continuous improvement bolstering the Engineering and Operations teams. You will also champion design and specification aspects on new Capital Projects, process improvements or re-engineering existing systems. Support for the Electrical, Mechanical and Multiskilled technicians to service and fault find on existing systems and equipment.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
Minimum HNC, preferred Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
At least 5 years’ experience in heavy industry with supervisory experience.
Experience with monitoring equipment, install and commissioning of vibration and temperature detection.
Computer competent with EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD and CMM Systems (Synchro).
Ability to co-ordinate and supervise work activities for the Electrical, Multiskilled and contractor personnel.
Knowledgeable and competent with reading electrical drawings, process, and control diagrams.
