This is a varied and vital role at the heart of our operation, where your influence will reach across departments and play a key part in the ongoing success and “health” of the business. As a frontline representative of the Technical team, you will be instrumental in upholding and improving food safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Working on a rotational shift pattern, you’ll provide technical support across the business, ensuring that all products and processes meet customer requirements, legislative standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report non-conformances, working collaboratively with managers to implement effective corrective actions.

  • Conduct hygiene, GMP, and traceability audits to support continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality control records.

  • Assist in managing non-conforming products to reduce risk and waste.

  • Lead and participate in product taste panels, helping to ensure consistency and quality across production.

  • Ensure quality inspection and rating systems remain in line with company and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Fully conversant with Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.

  • Strong understanding of technical and legislative requirements within a food manufacturing environment.

  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Positive, proactive, and committed to first-class customer service and continuous improvement.

  • Methodical, with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
