This is a varied and vital role at the heart of our operation, where your influence will reach across departments and play a key part in the ongoing success and “health” of the business. As a frontline representative of the Technical team, you will be instrumental in upholding and improving food safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Working on a rotational shift pattern, you’ll provide technical support across the business, ensuring that all products and processes meet customer requirements, legislative standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
Identify and report non-conformances, working collaboratively with managers to implement effective corrective actions.
Conduct hygiene, GMP, and traceability audits to support continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality control records.
Assist in managing non-conforming products to reduce risk and waste.
Lead and participate in product taste panels, helping to ensure consistency and quality across production.
Ensure quality inspection and rating systems remain in line with company and industry standards.
Requirements:
Fully conversant with Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.
Strong understanding of technical and legislative requirements within a food manufacturing environment.
A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
