​We are delighted to be working with a client in the Stokesley area, who are looking for someone with a background in insurance or financial services to join their team as an Insurance Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and supportive office, where customer care, honesty, and integrity are at the heart of everything they do.

As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the success of the local branch. You’ll work closely with existing and new customers, ensuring their needs are met and delivering a first-class service.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing sales and service support to personal lines customers, converting quotes into new business

  • Managing customer policy reviews to help retain existing business

  • Processing customer instructions for policy amendments

  • Recording and managing leads using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)

  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and introducing customers to financial services where appropriate

  • Proactively seeking out new business opportunities

  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge

  • Undertaking additional administrative duties as required

About the candidate:

  • A positive, can-do attitude with a strong attention to detail

  • Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to in-house systems

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above), including Maths and English

  • (Desirable but not essential) Two A-Level passes or prior insurance experience, ideally with CII qualifications
