Finance & HR Manager, £45-50,000, Harrogate
Are you a Finance Manager that also gets involved in the day-to-day HR within your office? Are you ACA/ACCA qualified? Are you looking for a new challenge?
Our client is looking for a Finance and HR Manager who will be solely responsible for efficiently and effectively running back office operations, including ownership of its day-to-day financial resources.
This is an exciting and varied position which will allow the candidate to gain a wide understanding of the business and, in the long term, become an integral part of its operation.
This would suit someone who lives in the local area.
Skills Required:
• Leadership skills
• Experience of working within a small team beneficial
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Experience in auditing, taxation, cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Management Accounts
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Experience of general HR within the office
Key Duties:
• Manage the company’s financial affairs.
• To oversee HR practices, processes and strategies
• General HR such as managing personnel records and disciplinary matters.
• Implementing Training Programs
• Ensure that all bank accounts are regularly reviewed and reconciled.
• Prepare monthly management reports and P&L projections.
• Management of staff
• Liaise with Inland Revenue, Customs & Excise and the company’s accountants.
• Calculate and file corporate tax returns.
• Evaluate the company’s financial transactions.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance is up to date.
• Payroll
