Are you a Controls Engineer with experience in the use of EPlan Software? Are you looking to progress your career to a position where you can oversee manufacturing projects from start to finish?
We are currently working alongside an established Automation specialist company who are looking to add an Electrical Controls Engineer to their Engineering team.
Your primary role will be to design electrical control systems for special-purpose machine manufacture, which also includes:
Interpreting customer specifications
Generating electrical diagrams via E-plan design suite
Developing software utilising a variation of PLC/HMI systems
Carrying projects through to commissioning phase including workshop testing and customer onsite testing
Provide functional safety expertise, ensuring all safety related components and circuits comply with to the machining directive and safety categorisation
To be considered for the position you must hold the following:
Subcontract experience preferred but not essential
Qualified to BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred but not essential
Full driving licence
Flexible approach to overtime to meet the demands of customer timings
Experience in robot programming practices preferred but not essential
Conversant in Microsoft Products
