About the Role

A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking experienced Corporate Tax Managers to join its growing Tax Consultancy team. You will play a key role in managing complex corporate tax work, supporting junior colleagues, and delivering high-quality consultancy services. This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional ready to take the next step in their career within a people-focused, values-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review detailed and complex corporate tax computations prepared by junior colleagues

  • Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members at varying levels

  • Monitor workflow, recoveries, and billing for your portfolio of clients

  • Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery

  • Participate in recruitment processes, including annual graduate intakes

  • Line management responsibilities for Tax Seniors and/or Trainees

Candidate Requirements

  • CTA qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory work

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Experience with Alphatax software (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong client relationship and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • A collaborative team player who can contribute across multiple teams and offices

  • Ability to lead tax training and support staff development
