My client is a leading manufacturing company based north of York, with an international presence and growing demand for their products. They are now seeking a dedicated and commercially minded individual to join their team as Commercial Accounts Manager.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the growth of the company by tracking projects and identifying new sales opportunities. Your main responsibilities will encompass researching projects and contractors, lead generation, project tracking, and collaborating closely with the sales team to unlock new avenues for business.
Responsibilities:
Achieving sales target objectives and / or tasks and/or number of calls
Pro-active sales to existing and prospective customers
Answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls appropriately
Sending and receiving completed credit application forms for new customers
Inputting sales orders and have credit checks done for customer’s credit availability
Providing technical data and samples to customers
Providing and following up offers by using opportunities in the CRM system
Ensuring that all conversations/correspondence are accurately recorded in the CRM system
Dealing with customer problems and complaints immediately
Ensuring that records and paperwork are accurately maintained and correctly filed
Following up deliveries, specially next day and Saturday deliveries
Arranging pictures and information of projects for case studies and editorials
Liaising with transport companies for quotes and making the choice thereafter in case of special transport
External responsibilities:
Visiting customers or sites as and when required
Doing presentations as and when required
Visiting or exhibiting at exhibitions as and when required
Benefits:
£25,000 salary plus individual and team bonuses - OTE earnings £35,000
