We are recruiting a Client Services Administrator for a well-established organisation offering a broad range of services across the wealth management value chain.
The Role
This position is within the Investment Management team, located in Harrogate. You will provide secretarial and administrative support to help deliver investment services to clients, including onboarding and liaison with intermediaries.
Key Responsibilities
Provide secretarial and administrative support including compiling reports, onboarding clients, filing, and general admin duties
Communicate with clients on behalf of Investment Managers, taking instructions and arranging meetings
Support all investment management teams with day-to-day operations
Maintain accurate client records, including setup and removal
Process account opening forms and liaise with compliance, operations, financial planning, and third parties
Support quarterly valuation processes including drafting letters and sending communications
Respond to information requests from third parties such as SIPP providers, solicitors, and accountants
Coordinate with operations on client cash movements (e.g., ISA subscriptions, transfers), completing related documentation
Monitor daily cash balances and manage fund movements
Provide management information using Excel from internal logs
Assist in preparing presentations for investment managers using PowerPoint
Collaborate with the Client Services Manager to streamline processes and reduce paper reliance
Answer overflow calls from reception
Stay up to date with internal policies and complete compliance training promptly
Perform other duties appropriate to the role
Candidate Requirements
GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous administrative experience
Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and a problem-solver
Capable of working independently and within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential
Experience in financial services is advantageous but not essential
