My client who is based in Leeming Bar are looking to recruit an experience Business Development Manager to join their growing team.


The company is well established and has shown huge growth year on year to become the key player in their market. There are lots of opportunities for new business and we are in a great position to win this business through offering fast delivery times and very competitive prices due to their buying power.


As the successful candidate, you will possess a sales and business development focussed background, with some experience of proactively marketing a product to new contacts and gaining useful information to help target and develop the relationships. You will be a highly organised and friendly individual with great communication skills and someone who can generally win people over with charm and professionalism. A good memory, great attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a determined and proactive attitude are essential.


The role will include:

  • Developing customer accounts over and above those already on board.
  • Target new businesses from information provided and make them aware of the company’s trade portal
  • Upsell products to new clients over the phone
  • Grow the client database whilst managing customer accounts

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm typically, but they could be tailored to suit external commitments.
