They are looking for a Bookkeeping and VAT ninja to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Occasional site visits to clients
monthly and quarterly book keeping and VAT returns using mainly Sage software but occasionally Xero and Quickbooks
Accounts management - tidying them up and drafting figures
Be a regular point of contact with clients, answering queries when required and ensuring deadlines are met
Mentoring and assisting in training of new/junior staff
Previous accountancy practice experience is required and you must be familiar with Sage, Xero, Quickbooks. Any other software can be taught or given training on, but will rarely be used as Sage is most used.
Qualifications aren’t a necessity if your experience is relevant. Although, if you do wish to look at qualifications and would eventually consider a move to the accounts department, they would be supportive of this as internal growth and progression is encouraged.
