We’re working with a well-established, family-run business based in Brompton-on-Swale, who are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role covering a wide range of bookkeeping duties, so it's ideal for someone experienced, organised, and looking for a long-term position with flexibility.
Main duties will include:
· Sales ledger – raising and sending out invoices
· Credit control
· Purchase ledger and processing payments to suppliers
· VAT returns
· Bank reconciliations
· Managing cash flow
· Payroll and general HR admin
· Month-end reporting
What they’re looking for:
· Solid experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role
· A good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
· Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
· Someone who’s happy working independently and as part of a small team
Hours:
20 hours per week – ideal over 3 days.
