Role: Accountant
Location: Malton
Hours – Negotiable (full or part time)
We are looking for a full time or part time accountant to join our clients Accountancy Practice firm based in Malton.
Requirements:
Recent/current experience in practice and either fully qualified (AAT/ACCA/ACA), or qualified by experience.
Good experience of using computers is necessary, particularly the use of Excel.
Experience using IRIS accountancy and tax software, SAGE, Xero and other accountancy programs would also be beneficial.
The role/duties:
General practice work from preparing VAT returns and accounts
Personal and corporation tax returns.
Client liaison will be required but ultimate responsibility lies with the partners/managers.
Package:
Salary dependent on experience.
The role is office based and does not involve working from home.
Hours: Full time would be 36.5 hours Monday to Friday, part time preferably over three or four set days (Monday to Friday) with total hours negotiable
